THE AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK REMAINED IN THE BUILDING UNTIL 1965, WHEN THEY MOVED TO A LARGER BUILDING A FEW BLOCKS TO THE NORTH. IT FEATURES MONUMENTAL STONE PILASTERS AND CLASSICALLY-INSPIRED ARCHITECTURAL DETAILING. WHEN IT WAS COMPLETED, THE BUILDING WAS AMONG THE TALLEST IN THE AREA AND A PRIME LOCATION FOR OFFICE SPACE.
